JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager oversees and leads the execution of client onboarding and engineering projects while managing communication and coordination among the project team, the client and vendors. Ensure that the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while managing resources, risks, and communication among stakeholders. This position also evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables and timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams comprising of consultants, technical experts, and client stakeholders to execute project objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the client, internal team members, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle process.
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Performs risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Uses project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and timelines effectively to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present status reports, including detailed project updates, to executive management.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and aligned with project forecasts.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and reallocate as necessary to meet project needs.
  • Coordinate with procurement for the acquisition of tools, software, and third-party services.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Ensure successful project handoff to operational teams and assist with post-project support if necessary.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project success and areas of improvement.

OTHER DUTIES

  •  Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  •  Prior MSP experience highly desired.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred but not required.
  • 6-8 years of project management experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall).
  • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in the technology sector..
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience driving complex issues to closure with customers.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually based on experience.
